Studying in Denmark

Like traveling, studying abroad inspires to see things in a new perspective. We invite you to study in Denmark and experience other ways of teaching, thinking, living and being

Academic excellence

DTU and KU are modern institutions offering education and research at the highest level. Every day more than 4300 (og fra DTU?) researchers and 40.000 students build on the Universities’ reputation as centres of academic excellence.

Quality in Education
World class resources and dynamic teaching enable you to get the best out of your study abroad.

As a student in Denmark you will be playing an active role in your own learning process. You will attend lectures, participate in discussions, study independently and undertake projects – both on your own and with groups of peers. Evaluation will be an ongoing process, through oral and written exams

International student environment

Each year more than 4,300 international students choose to study at the Universities. The Universities are committed to thinking and acting internationally – at all levels. Whether you are in the cafeteria or the classroom, the international outlook means you can feel at home.

Language
Most courses at master level are taught in English, and almost all Danes speak English, so you can get by without Danish, inside and outside of the classroom.

Social Environment

Make new Friends. Each year an increasing number of international students choose the Universities, so you will be part of a growing and active community.

Programmes

Arriving and Living in Copenhagen

The safe atmosphere, the well-developed infrastructure, the low level of pollution and the many cultural events all contribute to making Copenhagen one of the most liveable cities in the world.

Accommodation

We guarantee to find accommodation for our international MSc students for a period of maximum 2 semesters. For the 3rd and 4th semester, the MSc students have to find accommodation themselves.

However, do not apply for a room until you have received an acceptance letter from our admissions office - you cannot apply without a your CampusNet login number. Read more here

Going Back Home

All institutions of higher education in Denmark use the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), which facilitates international credit transfer. You will receive certificates or other types of official documentation for all completed courses. If you complete a full degree or a diploma programme, you will receive a Diploma Supplement in English.
